Daywise Itinerary

Experience the beautiful Himalayan peaks on your flight to the kingdom of Bhutan; drive towards the city of Thimphu, experiencing the magical landscape view with fresh flowing rivers and Mountain View. Taking the privilege to walk to the town gets you to discover Bhutanese culture and living style. Overnight at the hotel.

Begin your day visiting giant Buddha point overlooking Thimphu city, spend your time in the hall accomplishing your meditation with our representatives and locals. Then, hike back, descending to the oldest Changangkha temple and National Memorial Chorten. Next, drive towards Punakha valley, spend your time at the pass having a spectacular view of 108 stupas, and the surroundings, in clear weather, offer a breathtaking view of Himalayan ranges. Overnight at the hotel.

Start your day visiting Khamsu, Yulley Namgyel Chorten through the rice field and small hamlets. The current king’s mother built the beautiful architect Chorten for protection from evil. Spend some time meditating in the hall with a magnificent Punakha valley view. Then, descend back and visit impressive Punakha Dzong, beautifully located at the confluence of two rivers, previously served as the seat of the government, still the winter residence of the central monk body. Finally, walk a bit to the longest suspension bridge in the evening side to refresh yourself with our representatives. Overnight at the hotel.

Drive to Nalanda University after your breakfast, located western part of Punakha valley, immerse into the Drukpa Kagyu teachings with hundreds of monks in a peaceful scared place, spend your time meditating in the temple. Ascend to the Talo monastery, perched atop the above Punakha valley, one of the cleanest and pictorial quaint hamlets surrounded with dense forest of tree and conifer. Drive back to the Sangchhem Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, spend with the nuns and meditate in the temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Start your journey by visiting the popular Chimi Lhakhang taking a walk through the beautiful rice field; the temple is on a hillside in the middle of the rice field and is dedicated to Drukpa Kuenley (Divine Madman), now became a pilgrimage site for childless couples. Then, drive to the most beautiful Gangtey/Phobjikha valley, a broad glacial valley on the flank of the Black Mountain. Every winter, the rare, sensitive, and beautiful Black Naked Crane migrates from Tibet. Next, visit Gangtey Gompa, a more than 450 years old monastery led by the current ninth reincarnated abbot, Kunzang Pema Namgyel, with more than hundreds of monks; spend your time in the temple to have a relaxed, peaceful mind and body. Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning, join the monks in the monastery for the long life and purification ceremony, which is one hour and done every morning. After your breakfast, spend your time building Mandala with our nominated monk, a tool for gaining wisdom and compassion. Then, drive back to the hotel, relax and get a briefing for the retreat. Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning, join to meditation and followed by Buddhism talk by our nominated monk. Then, visit Khewa Lhakhang to pray and involve yourself in making incense stick with the locals and monks. Finally, relax and join to usual mediation. Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning, join to usual meditation and Buddhism talk on your chosen topic by our chosen monk. Then, walk through the pine forest to enjoy the valley view and roosting place of rare Black Naked Crane. Next, you may visit the Black Naked Crane information center, a valley, cranes, and habitats. Finally, spend your time watching the video of how rare Black Naked Crane migrates and its significance. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning, we did the Mandala with long life and world peace ceremony lead by our chosen monk, Descend back to Paro valley, passing Dochula pass, spend your time once more enjoying the view and surroundings. Visit first ever built Simtokha dzong and Tachog Lhakhang, a small private temple, and the suspension iron chain bridge built by saint Thangtong Gyalpo. Then, enjoy the scenic drive to the mesmerizing Paro valley. Overnight at the hotel.

Visit 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang. It is a majestic temple revered as one of the magnificent sites for worship in Bhutan. Do sightseeing to Majestic Paro dzong and national museum. Before heading towards the hotel, take your time to visit Dumtse Lhakhang, build by Saint Thangthong Gyelpo. Relax and enjoy doing daily meditation and the surroundings. Overnight at the hotel.

With excitement, get ready to hike to the most famous Tiger’s Nest monastery, a revered ancient cites. Experience astonishing views from the sanctuary, perched on a cliff 900m above the valley floor. You may meditate for some time and experience one-time peace and happiness in yourself in the monastery. Then, rest for a while and explore the Paro town with a unique architect house. You will have the option of exploring the beautiful city of Paro or. Overnight at the house.
